The company’s focus is facilities operation and maintenance, waste management and radiological services, security control and force protection, and environmental services.
POSITION PURPOSE:
In support of the Northwind IT Infrastructure organization, this position will be responsible for monitoring the Hanford Accreditation Boundary General Support System referred to as the Hanford Local Area Network (HLAN) Information System. Services include but are not limited to core network infrastructure (i.e., routers, switches, firewalls etc.), authentication services, servers, storage, Internet, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and other HLAN resources, infrastructure, and facilities for faults, service interruptions, and performance degradation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent years of work experience or combination of education and relative work experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be sitting for long periods of time in an office environment, but will also be required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. Physical requirements of the job may include but are not limited to the ability to climb stairs, lift at least 10 pounds, and stay awake and alert during shifts.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The work is conducted indoors. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may increase with work activity.
