POSITION PURPOSE:

The Administrative Assistant shall support the program management team with development and completion of project reporting, purchasing & procurement efforts, as well as other common administrative tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use established systems to provide weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Use established systems to provide cost reports.
  • Provide purchasing support for the project.


ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of submittals, including project deliverables and records.
  • Provide administrative office support to the program management team as needed.
  • Updating project documents as directed.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (two) – five (5) years of recent administrative support experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management, staff, and client.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and make decisions, exercise good judgment, work under pressure, work with minimal supervision and prioritize workload.

Special Requirements:

  • Must pass pre-employment background check.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
  • Must have a valid driver license.
  • Ability to pass U.S. Government employment background check and acquire U.S. Government Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential card.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Project Controls EVMS processes preferred.
  • Knowledge of general account aspects preferred.
  • Experience in performing procurement duties in a business environment.
  • Experience in performing administrative duties in a business environment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work will be performed in an office environment. Occasional visits to project sites may be required.
